About Me

Mary Beth Engeldinger wants you to have the kitchen or bath that's perfect for your life and times.

She knows first hand how worrisome the details and process can be.  In fact, her experience in building a house in 2006 and taking charge of designing the kitchen and baths is what started her down a path to a degree in kitchen/bath design. Now, Mary Beth Designs is a full-service business.  She'll guide your from initial interview through the finishing touches.

She's an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.  Mary Beth also spent years as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit at OHSU.  Caring for critically ill infants is still an issue that she's passionate about.  But life isn't always about staying the course.

When she went back to school to study kitchen and bath design, she also took classes in construction, including a stint on a backhoe and a 6 am class for pouring concrete, which have proved invaluable in working with contractors and clients.

"The program stressed that we will be better designers if we understood the construction technology behind it," she said.  She has put those skills to work in projects, in dealing with clients and in working with contractors.
